In safer times of early spring 2020 Walking the ancient seabed long dried by constant climate change, inhabited by humanity for over 10,000 years blessed with Human history over the river of time, a short journey and I'm transported into this beautiful landscape of chalk valleys carved from fresh water springs, public pathways and landscapes that can be accessed by all for free, exploration and adventure starts at home, making my own journey on land walked by thousands of feet before me yet I still make new ground and discovery for myself with my own eyes and senses, half way along the Wolds Way, 40 miles inland from the brown banks of the Humber and 40 miles more to go until the North Sea, yet not one step a burden. In all weathers bitter cold wild winds and rain, sleet & snow and then today as a fellow adventure said to me "blue skies at last" yes blue skies and early spring sunshine until the summer comes again.

Share the journey with me in my online gallery
