14 Days of Mount Fuji, Tokyo Circuit Board

We rose skyward unquestioningly rising up from grey concrete Tokyo runway, our faith in science, business & one another propulsed us beyond our habitat passing the thin veil of cloud that defines existence, Westward & home, we take in with excitement & appreciation a Lingering & reflective farewell view of Tokyo City, Japan & Fuji’s eye that has welcomed us with open arms. In the blink of an eye we walked & wandered, our 14 days came to pass as slow or fast as any other before or after, yet our days thankfully blessed with peace & prosperity, although once more the heavy weight of conflict fills the world, Japan included, like static before the storm only the wilfully blind deny it, aware of our fragility and privileged to travel once again, we feel & touch, we eat & smell & wonder, we live this place & witness together, memory & lands spirit engrained to heart, mind & soul. The Endless Grey human sprawl of condensed buildings seems inhuman reaching from eye to horizon under the watchful view of a distant yet ever present Fujisan she stands guard, witness & Wave of her children the expanse & exponential growth of humanity. Bathed in bright early morning sunlight & the perspective of height Tokyo no longer a City of flesh & bone but a grey circuit board of hard angles that rise & fall to distance ‘we’ pulsing energy of thought & action who traverse City streets unknowing of our creation, our perhaps we its creation, our lives a small contribution of a greater unknown design & function. Yet our visit to this parallel land of high tech & futurism the grey cubes & shapes more than outward appearance, Tokyo alive & human, as is Japan with rich depth of faith & culture, beauty in landscape & people this land swelling of life’s energy, spiritual & natural, our 14 days of Mount Fuji have fuelled the flame within of mystery & faith of greater things, nothing as simple as it seems, perspective & views but illusions of circumstance & the mercy of universal energy
