They come together in groups or in solice and spread across the bays & sea water of the North Yorkshire Coast.

Out on the water its one on one, the wave and the person as energy joins together at the will of Modern Man. Culture formed thousands of miles away in the Pacific, actions followed from nature of marine mammals, humanity no different in the pleasure of riding the wave.

The shapes they form are universal to the pursuit of balance, waiting for the perfect wave, patiently waiting counting the rythms of the water, eyes on the horizon seeking the big rise and closer to shore the timing of the breaker, mind set they pursue the target energy by throwing arms and legs, the expulsion of human energy to sinque with the wave, if succesfull the rest takes skill and discipline to delicately & yet forcefully mount the board and share the wave, the speed and exhileration as they rip along the surface until expelled they plunge to sea.
