Every morning I wake up & think is this really happening, recent memories of yesterdays normality seem a long way from now, in a different dimension in a different reality, a newly loaded level on a game long mastered played and mapped, freedom of movement, of choice of plenty, plans and dreams and hopes rapidly diminishing. But this new reality is no game the consequences are all to real, the statistics and figures so easily printed, digested and repeated all represent real people, families & hearts broken, lives destroyed, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, grandparents, friends & neighbours laying in beds gradually filling hospital wards and corridors as health givers work tirelessly to save each and every one of them, it could be me, it could be you, I hope not, we all hope not, but instead of hoping we all can do, we can act, we can take stock of our actions and reduce our exposure and exposure of the vulnerable, the quicker we adapt to this new reality the sooner we win, the more lives we save, the less we infect that is our new collective purpose, our victory, more meaningful than any trophy in any sport, our new aim, our new goal the pinnacle of our new reality is to live and let live;
